The breakfast spread was great and the rooms were fine and comfortable. The staffs were friendly amd helped to fix some issues pretty quickly.

We had a pleasant stay for four nights at Thistle Hotel Johor Bahru. The cleanliness of all four rooms was impressive. I would like to compliments to Mr. Sam, who was very helpful during our visit. The front desk staff, bellboys, and cafe staff were all extremely friendly. As returning guests, we were delighted that Mr. Sam still remembered us, which made us feel truly valued and appreciated.

Thistle Hotel is no doubt a beautiful hotel. It stands majestic despite 30 years of wear and tear. They have a lovely pool area and gym facilities, and the Glass restaurant whips out a fabulous buffet breakfast for the hungry guests. The front desk ladies didn't seem friendly nor were welcoming. Possibly the language barrier. However, there was a gentleman named Sam who was very well-spoken and efficient in handling our issue with roaches in the room. The housekeeping staff were also friendly and helpful when we requested bath gels and toiletries. Overall, we did have a wonderful stay.

the view from our room, nearby restaurants, location is wow. spacious room but at 3am onwards I don't know who switching on/off the stand lamp repeatedly 3 times. that's not a big deal for me, I feel entertained.

The breakfast was good, not too heavy. Room is superb. I like the location most as it is accessible to most places that I wanted to go/visit.
